Fokker Aerostructures receives Boeing contract for CH-47F Chinook aft section work
Fokker Aerostructures, a Fokker Aerospace Group company, announced today it has received a contract from The Boeing Company for manufacture of the CH-47F Chinook aft section major subassemblies. This package would put work at Fokker Aerostructures facilities in Papendrecht and Hoogeveen, and will involve 15 other Dutch companies as part of the company’s extended supply chain. “This aft section work forms a perfect match with Fokker Aerostructures core business of complex aerostructures,” said Fokker Aerostructures President Hans Büthker. “This contract highlights the excellent HSM (Hi-Speed Machining) and Sheet Metal skills and assembly capabilities of our dedicated, specialized employees. We are delighted with this new opportunities for growth that this contract brings.”
